related to a post I made many months ago about countries and WCG.

The effect now seems to be permanent - even though all my projects are set to Channel Islands, my combined stats make it seem that i'm from the UK, which obviously isn't the case.

I know the real solution is to get WCG to add an entry for "Channel Islands" - but I've asked repeatedly, around the time of my previous thread, but nothing has been done I'm afraid.

However, it doesn't seem right that i'm considered in the UK when all but one of my projects are set to CI.

The hash for Channel Islands is lower than the one of the UK.

I'm sure I can fix it by making changes to the update scripts and making it a lot slower. I won't do that.

Get WCG to support the Channel Islands to fix the problem. But since the Channel Islands are not considered a 'real' country (not represented in the CIA Fact Book nor the ISO 3166-1 Country list used by WCG) it is unlikely that they will add it.
