I just noticed that the country of some teams in combined stats changed today.

SETI.Germany, Planet 3DNow!, Rechenkraft.net and Nordlichter used to be German, now they're International. BOINC@Australia is not Australian any more, Czech National Team not Czech. OcUK - Overclockers UK is now British, but used to be International.

What happened?

SETI.Germany, Planet 3DNow! are international in WCG.

OcUK - Overclockers UK is British in all projects I checked.

I think if I went through all the projects for all the teams, I can find the reason why they are in the country they are listed in. But I won't, feel free to do that for me.

I have other plans for now *Checks Nero to see if SG-A is finished burning*.

It's only one project that is not German

They have always been international in WCG, but German in combined stats.

And WCG is one of the very few projects where we don't have regular contact with the founder. And I doubt that the teams can be changed there as good as on any other projects, I will bet it's as non-standard as everything with WCG

Like I explained in other threads: it's a decision I had to make. whatever I choose, min or max, there's always somebody who wants the opposite because that suits him better.

I think there is some confusion about what MIN and MAX do. They do not select the entry that is seen most, but the entry that has the lowest or highest value.

So, MAX out of (a,b,b,b,b,c,c,d,d) results in d, while MIN results in a.

Now I hear you say: use COUNT. Well, I could, but with MIN/MAX I can do a single query to get the team name, while with COUNT I'll have to do a query for every single team. That's a speed hog.

While Austria-National-Team is not a Turkey Team, they can be viewed on Turkey Page. We know that Austria National Team is a Austria Team of course. In Their Team is one user from Turkey and because of this user probably Austria Team's nationality is seen like it is a Turkey Team, me thinks.

Same problem, they're turkish in WCG, the founder should change it to austrian and the problem will be solved. search for a user/team and you'll see a list of all projects and their nationality in each project
