I'm using Firefox 3.0.1 on Windows XP SP3. After the site update with the draggable sections, I can't select text inside now-draggable sections anymore. To reproduce the problem, open up http://boincstats.com/ and try to select text from any news using the mouse. Instead of text being selected, drag mode is entered.

I know that's not possible anymore, didn't know there was a need for it either.

The way the mousepointer changes into a 'hair-shape' when you hoover above a moveable section suggests you *can* select the text ...
[edit] moveable section instead of only shoutbox [/edit]

I would love to show a blocked mousepointer like (without the P, couldn't find a better example) but there is no CSS to do this.

Can you use the <span style="cursor: default">, so the cursor will keep the arrow-shape?

When hovering over a section title (BOINC Account manager, Statistics, etc.), the cursor changes shape to indicate you can drag it. It would be nice IMHO, if you can only drag the sections when you press on the title, not the entire section.

As you can see it *is* possible to select and c/p the text How Try it yourself, i'll check this thread in a couple of days a
