The new "Recent average position change per day" feature is a good idea but it doesn't seem to calculated correctly.

I apparently have an average of 1540 positions per day. However, I have only gone up 10524 positions over the last 30 days and most of that was earlier in the period.

Over the last 51 days you have come from about 100,000 to 35,000. (100,000 - 35,000) / 51 = very close to 1540.

Fair enough. For my information, what are you defining "recent" as?

it might be useful if you did not count the first day in the "recent average position change per day" stats. My stats for a project I joined show that on the day I joined, I was ranked #104. The day after the initial flood, I was ranked #291 (or there abouts) as shown in the "world position" chart. Since that time, I went down a bit and then came back up and am currently #283. Based solely on the world position chart (which ignores the first day), it looks like I should have a slightly positive value for recent average position change per day, but number listed is -4 because of that initial day.

I know its a minor point and perhaps too much of a weird circumstance to make a general change for, but I thought I would raise the issue. Thanks for the good work on the site!
