I am running six Boinc projects. I have setup and/or joined a team for each of these projects. I used an "@" in the name and it was acceptable to the individual projects. But BoincStats won't accept the team name with the embedded "@" in the name or the trailing period. It is too late to change the six team names now, and I don't want to anyway.

The names look like this:

SETI@Bremerton,Wa.

This is the city where I live, followed by the state, and a trailing period.

If the projects will accept this format, then why won't BoincStats?

BoincStats should just be using the email addy anyway, and then retrieving the team names from my individual project profiles. OR ELSE reject any project that allows this format. BoincStats is NOT supposed to play Ptoject Cop and enforce any format on the projects or their volunteer users. All just my opinion...
