While visiting this site, there was a lag. When I tried to re-enter, I was redirected here to a secure addrees with the same host name which firefox blocked because the certificate was self signed.

I preformed maintenance on the firewall/routing servers. For a short time there was no route to the BOINCstats webservers and a simple https page (without certificate) was shown.

Good to know. My Firefox was making it sound ominous and suggesting a DNS rebinding attack.

That's because the https site was set up to accept only certain hostname/IP combinations. The error message came from the website, not from your browser.
