Noticed this when looking for info about the stats update today. This seem to be a problem with IE 11 itself, and from what I'm gathering is in Windows 8 as well. It effects many sites, and presents a fair few problems. Copying and pasting in IE 11 can also be an issue, as it can be in Windows 8 from some accounts; Microsoft has really broken some things in that regard. Typing in some sites can be a real problem also. Various sites I use for my banking, from Capital One's site, to my own bank's website also has problems with IE 11, as entering the mouse pointer into the box to type in one's password for login, results in nothing. Hell when going to pay my credit card with Capital One, I have to copy and paste the dollar amount into their site, or use Firefox, because IE 11 doesn't work with their site there either. Various forums, typing in the posting box will become randomly inactive. Now the passwords could be changes in IE 11 itself (10 didn't have the same problem), or it could be some interaction between IE 11, and some protection from Kaspersky Internet Security, which helps protect the entering of passwords against key loggers and the like, but there is no issue with Firefox, with Kaspersky giving full protection to entering passwords; and this doesn't even apply when just typing simple dollar amounts anyhow...
I think the actual bug is wrt some changes Microsoft made in IE 11 itself, and web sites have been having to scramble to come up with a work around to this. Any problems here don't seem to be unique to BOINC stats itself, as IE 11 is having compatibility problems on a host of other websites themselves.
