Is there any way to hide the user host list from public view?

I don't use BAM, but I would imagine if you do you can do it there. If not, then you can do it by going to the preferences for each project you run and tell them to hide your computers, which will have the same effect after the first stat xml update after you make the change.

That being said, there is really not much point in hiding them for most users, since no sensitive personal data is exposed publicly either here at BOINCStats or on the projects.

One real downside to hiding them is if you have a problem or want to ask a question pertaining to the way BOINC is running, it makes it a lot harder for anyone to give you a hand (at least without having to ask you a lot more questions about your setup).

Hiding your Host's at the Projects doesn't hide them in the BOINCstats Stats, I've had mine hid at various times across the Projects and all 100+ still showed up in the Stats here. Whats so funny about it is I only have 15 Computers but the Stats show well over 100 ... Go Figure
