It says currently in the Boinc combined project statistics:

"Average floating point operations per second 2,243,645.7 GigaFLOPS / 2,243.646 TeraFLOPS".

I wonder, how is this average calculated, and does it take also GPUs into account (that generally fewer floating point operations are needed for the same calculation than in CPUs)?
