One of our participants (from my team - Crystal Dream) - TechnoID, forgot the password and forgot what e-mail using for BOINCstats site (He does not receive e-mail on any e-mail box). Can you reset password to his BOINCstats account and send it to TechnoID projects e-mail - t_e_c_h_no-id @ m_a_i_l.ru (replace "_"," " -> NULL), or on my e-mail (I am a team founder of Crystal Dream).

May be e-mail sending is working properly, but problem in spam filter...

I'm sorry but the email address you PM-en me is a total mismatch with the one in the database. What is this persons real name?

Willy, can you simple remove the TechnoID account from BOINC Stats database? He will make the new account.

Again the same problem: I need to verify he has rights to the account. For all I know, it can be somebody else his account and you/he wants it for some reason.

So, provide me with either the real name of the person or the email address currently used by the account. If you can't provide it, the account will not be accessible.

I understand you, Willy. But TechnoID does not remember what name he input in registration form. Problem of identification can be solved very simple. In BOINC stats database only 3 account like TechnoID: http://boincstats.com/en/stats/search/#TechnoID . And all of this account joined to team Crystal Dream - the team which founder I am.

If TechnoID send to you a private messages in one of projects in which you (and he) participate - it will solve a problem?

I did see it now.

The problem remains: his user-ID at Einstein is not the same as the Einstein-user-id for BAM!-user TechnoID. Also, they are not from the same country.

I am not convinced this is the same person.

Very intresting. But only one TechnoID exists in Einstein@Home. May be occurs an error in BOINC Stats database?

TechnoID faced the following problem:
1. "The username/password combination is incorrect. Please try again.
If you can't remember your login information you can enter your email address or username below. Your username and a temporary password will then be emailed to you."

2. When he enter an TechnoID login and press to send new password to e-mail he recieve a message "An email with the username and password is sent to the provided email address." But no letters come on his e-mail. May be in BOINC Stats database store his old work mailbox, may be other lost mailbox. May be BOINC Stats database store information about other user that no active now.

Can we solve this problem?

There is no database error. The information provided does not math the data at BOINCstats. Unless you can prove the account is his (by providing the correct email address (even if it doesn't exist anymore) or the IP from where the account was registered or his real name (if that matches parts of the email address). If you don't have any of these, the account will not be available.
