Hmmm... I am not. Yet.

BOINCstats server time: 2016-01-15 21:16:00 GMT
http://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/user/detail/6e1978a4abf088a92334c29b04062678/
User ID doesn't exist in BOINC combined or doesn't have any credit.

But:

If I search for "Tuna Ertemalp" and click on BOINC Combined
[url]http://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/user/detail/3481327/projectList[/utl]
shows data.

And, my CPID is all wrong now under Main Account Page! It was 2f998e84d53b4ef813b308bf9fbb3ec8. The page now shows 6e1978a4abf088a92334c29b04062678. Why?

Of course, http://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/user/detail/2f998e84d53b4ef813b308bf9fbb3ec8 does show stuff that it should.

And, my BAM ID seems to have changed from 3481327 to 37744, I think. My signature links all over the world are not working properly anymore.

I did not play any funny games like recreating a new account or anything.

So, what is going on? I hope this new CPID won't travel to all sorts of projects...

Not sure what happened to your CPID here (pretty sure I'll figure it out) but no worries about it spreading anywhere, BAM! does not define your CPID! The CPID is always derived from the projects.

Was it linked to your stats correctly before today? And did you change your BAM! name today?

The script that fixes all CPIDs runs tonight. Maybe it's fixed tomorrow.

Nothing changed on my side. The same machines running everything the same way. Everything was perfect until yesterday. Just now is the first time I noticed it. I think even this morning (my time, West USA) everything was fine.

Also, my BAM! was set up to tell my hosts to sync every hour. That hasn't happened for hours. Now I am doing a manual sync on all of them, after having set PrimeGrid to NoNewTasks & AbortUnstarted on BAM. However, during sync, some hosts get both settings, some get neither, some just get the AbortUnstarted. I am manually aborting unustarted tasks & set PrimeGrid to NoNewTasks on all my hosts (since the PrimeGrid's latest challenge is now over), and sync with BAM, hoping things will sync up. A bit concerning...

Dude, I did NOT change my BAM name to "tunae". It was "Tuna Ertemalp". Your fixes must have made it "tunae". That is probably why... What happened, and what are we to do? I don't even know where tunae would come from. I am either Tuna Ertemalp or my email in the BOINC universe which is not tunae.

I only added back accounts which were deleted by the database conversion, no data was for existing (read: not deleted) users was changed. However, the first recovery I did turned out to be one year old. I guess your account was in that selection. The second recovery was one day old but users from the first batch were not again created. Very sorry about that.

The only thing that can be done to fix that is change your settings. Your CPID is already fixed but the wrong one is still in the cache for a little more time.Your CPID is fixed.

I'm really sorry to everybody about the user account mess I made.

When hosts can't connect to BAM! (as was this case this morning with the error) then they ignore the 1 hour and wait a random time. This is build into the client.

Also replication broke due to all the user account fixing I was doing so the servers were not in sync. If you were changing settings on webserver1 and your client gets connected to webserver2 it got the old settings.

At this moment replication is in sync, all accounts are back (unfortunately some with older settings), BAM! CPIDs are all fixed.

BTW: those missing accounts: only the user entries were gone, none of the other settings like hosts, preferences, posts etc.

Thanks for fixing my CPID & the name... Two things I noticed so far while validating items on the left navigation frame.

Host list: All hosts are listed as 0 credit for the last day/week/month. That wasn't the case earlier, like this morning or yesterday. Is that expected until host updates happen, or is this a side effect of my account hosure?

Work preferences: I had two preference profiles, global and something else. I still do. The names are correct. But, they are both reset to default settings. Something you'll restore from something, or should I set them up again? Is this something everyone will have to do, or just people in my category of account problems?

No, didn't touch anything else so the prefs should be correct. Especially when they still exist (as far as I know none were removed) they should be as they were. Can you check for Javascript errors?

I can see you have two preferences which were last changed 2015-12-23. Early in the morning I guess. If you tell me one of the settings which is wrong according to your memory I can compare it to the database. But only if you do not edit and save them!

The non-global one should have 02:00-18:00 restriction on work. The machine that uses it still has that and says it is using BAM settings. So, the last edit in Dec didn't change that, and until the last successful BAM sync, that is what the machine got, but now I see on BAM as no restriction. The client didn't sync, yet. I'll send you my global settings in a few minutes...

This is in those settings in the database:
   <start_hour>2</start_hour>
<end_hour>18</end_hour>

You can verify if these settings are send in the account manager reply xml.

And my global settings as pictures of the four tabs as well as the pages on BAM that I am seeing right now despite your database being correct (at least for the non-global one): http://1drv.ms/1Sn4rBF. So, if the database is right but the website is wrong, something is broken. I could also try to sync and see what settings will come to me.

Also, independently, the last email notification I got for posts in this thread is over an hour old, despite the conversation we have been having over that time. And, I am subscribed to it, as I had been since it started.

That is because my "old account" has my old email... I'll fix it.

I can see in the logs that mails are send to you (tunae@ your old employer). I do receive the notifications.

Yup. The old email must have crept in when you had restored from that year old backup... I just noticed & fixed it. Hopefully it'll work.

By the way, sorry for the flurry of problem msgs. You know I appreciate everything you do, in case that emotion gets lost in the faceless writing.

Preferences are fixed. Turns out that the newer version of PHP also does things a little different than the older one .

It used to work like this:
Code:
$val = $val ? $val : 0;

Which gave either the value in $val or 0. But now this is always 0.

Had to change it to:
Code:
$val = isset($val) ? $val : 0;

I'm afraid code problems like these will popup all over the place.

To summarize, my two remaining issues are:

Even though most of the preferences are now much better & fixed (thanks!), the time restriction on my non-global still says no restriction on the BAM page.

And

Host list: All hosts are listed as 0 credit for the last day/week/month. That wasn't the case earlier, like this morning or yesterday. Is that expected until host updates happen, or is this a side effect of my account hosure?

I see, in the overview it says "no restriction", however if you edit the pref it shows correctly. Also, the host will get the correct settings as stored in the DB. Will fix this but not right now.

Probably because the update is disabled. I hope to run a host update tomorrow or Sunday.

And now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to get some sleep.

Is the loss of 50,586 points/credit on 2016-01-14 on my account related to the Database problem/crash?

There was no problem with the stats data. No crash, no data loss. So I'll have to look for another explanation.
Edit: looks like a split CPID to me, here are your missing credits: http://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/user/detail/50644/projectList.
