I notice BOINCstats and PrimeGrid share downtime. Why is that? What is the connection between the two?

I notice BOINCstats and PrimeGrid share downtime. Why is that? What is the connection between the two?

They share hosting, donations to both and ads from both help pay the server and colocation.
