On the Project POEM@Home "mattertax" founded a team with the name of our team: boinc.at

Now that he changed the team-url to anything of his own matters and boincstats does not show our team-url any more, it changed to the one this guy had entered.

We are not listed in the austrian country-stats any more since this fellow is making his funny day with our teamname.

I wrote to Willy and to Dave Anderson if there is a possibility for solving this. Mattertax does not see any reason why he should change anything.
I joined now the BOINC-wide Teams and hope this helps to prevent such ugly stories.
I complained in the german POEM-forum but helping us would be the last thing what mattertax wants to do.

Is there anything else what I can do?

Thanks to Timo Strunk on POEM@Home! He helped us out and transferred the leadership to me. I am able now to correcht the missleading teaminfos. Everything should go fine now.

Dave and Willy can't do anything about this, as they don't control the POEM servers, so the project admins are the only ones who can change this kind of stuff at the project servers

You can avoid this by setting up a BOINC wide team, it will probably be created (along with your account) on every new project popping up on the net. But be aware:
1. your email address will be given away to anyone who downloads the team list.
2. you will probably not be made aware of new founded teams in new projects
3. you have no immediate access to the new autocreated account, have to let them send you the account key
4. you will have the same team description on every project, no specifics
