BOINC worked fine in the earlier Mac version. This one has completely stopped working. Does anyone know what's going on? It absolutely will not connect with the BOINC servers in any way. In addition, the graphic interface will not come up. In addition, it cannot deal with multiple projects.

Hm... I'm using 6.2.14. When I first installed it, the projects stopped getting new work, but after a reboot, it was fine. I'm running it on OS10.4, a G5 PPC.

What OS? 10.4 or 10.5? Is it fully patched?

What processor? PowerPC (G4, G5) or Intel?

Do you have antivirus software with a firewall? It's possible the connections are being blocked by a firewall rule.

Since graphics are not working, what kind of video card do you have?

Unfortunately the Mac guy for BOINC is on vacation right now, so it might take a little bit to address this problem. There is a lot of information on the BOINC site. You may be able to get better, quicker and more authoritative information over there.
