I have been running Boinc for a while on xp without issue. I have however started migrating some of my comps to Vista. And I am noticing that the manager looses contact with the client after a mediocre period of time. Meaning it stops working as it should. I am running the latest version 6.2.18, is this a known issue or what?

I have been running BOINC on Vista for about a year and a half, currently happy with 5.10.45.

I did notice that Vista was a more pleasant experience after installing SP1.

Of course, disabling the nonsense file indexing service improves it by leaps and bounds.
