How come CAS at Home appears unreachable yet your Project Status Information page shows it is online?

I have been trying to upload completed tasks for several days to http://casathome.ihep.ac.cn/. When I click on the link to reach the project I get a "The connection has timed out" error message.

Its weird, some of my computers can get and report work but at least one machine got tasks but cannot upload them. This machine is the one I'm on now so it connects the the 'net OK and crunches other projects just fine.

Anyone here capable of reading and translating some chinese messages from over there?
They are obviously down, at least UL(DL-server is officially shut down, but some seem to get WUs. They are as responsive as ever, i.e. no answer to questions in a timely manner in english, some chinese messages are there, but iirc not from project people but other crunchers. I can't fathom any meaning from that, whether there's an explanation or as well just questions.

But they have a very mean bug, and don't answer any questions as usual.

Are they really such a bunch of arrogant a***oles that hate their crunchers, or are their social skills just severely underdeveloped, or is there some heavy chinese censorship that prevents them from being helpful?

I just ran over 40 with 33 more waiting to run on my computers yesterday and today, and not one error.
not to get into a pissing match with anybody over anything: I once ask something over on the BOINC web site and was given the following responce, if you don't like something that is going on an a project then don't run it. there are lots of other projects out there. pick another.
nobody is holding a gun to your head making you run it. all projects have bugs and sooner or later they will get work out. if not everybody will stop running them and they will die out. and I find it to be true.
as for me I take the screw it point of view, if it runs it runs. if it doesn't then it doesn't and I pick another project that does.

and anyway this is not the 1st project that people have never got an answer from and it will not be the last.
so try, try to let it go and move on.

Good question. I had similar questions when I received this email recently:

Your profile will be featured on the CAS@home website for the next 24 hours.

Since about a ago, I have tried to register with the giant Chinese search engine Baidu and have always been denied with the message:

I wonder if access to the CAS@home web pages outside of China has been disabled because "Your current operation poses a security risk, please try again later"?
I wonder if this BOINC project exposes some of the holes in this form of defense to security risks?
