Willy,

Great job on the account manager!

I was able to attach all of my windows clients easily.

But when I use the linux command

./boinc_cmd --acct_mgr_rpc bam.boincstats.com

with my username and password it gives me

2006-05-28 09:12:20 [---] Contacting account manager at bam.boincstats.com
2006-05-28 09:12:21 [---] Account manager error: Error 408
2006-05-28 09:12:21 [---] Account manager error: Error 408

Any ideas?

There is no record of this host ever contacting BAM. I guess it the error means it can't connect.

Error 408 is not an error send by BAM.

The error means
HTTP Error 408 - Request timeout

Maybe your network was down at that time?
