Hey everyone,

Just noticing that about 6 hours ago and on, my BOINC manager can't seem to connect to the BAM account manager.

Is anyone else having this issue? I did a quick look through the forums to see if there was a maintenance or something, but I didn't notice any. So, I take it that the server went down unexpectedly?

All it says in the message log is:
04/03/2007 9:12:47 AM||Account manager error: http error

Same here since yesterday...
I get this on all PCs

I just changed my max hdd space from 550MB to 700MB, so that could be related perhaps?

all the same here, and when i'm type the url it's also not possible to connect to bam

I just upgraded to the latest BOINC manager thinking maybe that was the issue, but I still can't connect.

Since I'm not the only one having this issue, I guess we can assume the account server is temporarily down.

Yes, BAM! is currently down This has happened before, but Willy was able to fix it very fast and almost no one have noticed it. But currently Willy is on a vacation. Perhaps Rytis can fix it, assuming that he has access to the DB & web servers (I know that it is some service getting stopped with no apparent reason)

Hello, I think ever single computer managed by BAM gets the same problem

The same over here. I just tried to get BAM running for the first time and now no connect at all :/

I only have access to WWW server, but I'll see what I can do.

[edit] I sent Willy an SMS message, hoping that
a) his number haven't changed;
b) my provider works fine (I just recently changed it, and had issues with SMS sending).

We now wait.

BAM is BACK UP!
