When I started signing up for various projects on BOINC, I didn't knew about BAM. I created the BAM account later on.

Is it still possible for me to link it to my main CPID to my BAM account?

Note that I am using the same email address everywhere.

I too have done this very thing. My BAM account only displays my stats from my Rosetta@home account but not the Einstein@home or LHC@home. however all three of them show under my projects and can be remotely attached and detached.
