My credits on RS are not showing up under my individual stats.

my CPID - aaee92751f55b681265540493714825e

I show up under RS stats and RS Team stats but they just do not appear on my account.

Many Thanks.

It looks as if my cpid on the RS site is incorrect.

This would of course then report incorrectly into BoincStats.

Anyone any ideas on how I go about changing this?

RS is using perlBOINC software which contains a CPID bug. Perhaps a project reset might work, I myself completely uninstalled BOINC from both my machines and reinstalled it again to get rid of it.

RS really needs to switch to standard BOINC server software.

Yes, RS often seems to cause problems

First thing to do, read the FAQ if you haven't already, and trawl through this forum for other's tales of woe and hopefully resolution

FAQ is here : http://boincstats.com/page/faq.php#14

Meanwhile, over at RS, try:

'Your account' -> 'Computers on this account' and then look for the same host appearing more than once. If/when you find a duplicate, pick the 'oldest' one, select it and scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click 'merge this computer'. Then follow the instructions. Sorry I can't be more specific from this point onwards, but I've finally removed all of my split CPIDs

Yes, this sort of stuff is a real nuisance, but just doing the basics as recommended in the BoincStats FAQ and merging hosts at the projects causing the problems always works.

Be warned: You need to be very patient. These fixes can take days to work their way through the system. But things always come right in the end (I even managed to fix a spilt CPID at Predictor - It tooks weeks to resolve, but it did in the end).

Sorry if this is 'teaching grandma to suck eggs', but I hope it helps you or at least someone to resolving these problems.

Cheers,

Al.

Sinj doesn't mention anything about split host CPID's only a split account CPID, so there's no need to do anything in the host stats

Sinj, could you open your client_state.xml file and check the value of your rieselsieve <cross_project_id>? it should be a 32-digit hexadecimal string, but it wasn't in my case. Note: it will be different from your normal CPID and RS CPID on boincstats.

Hi, it has been a while.

Here is the CPID for RS = 6f82138b022bb9a6ebdca23c8c19eea6

This is my CPID for every other project - aaee92751f55b681265540493714825e

Is there any chance that these could be brought in line.

I cannot add RS to my BAM account and I very much doubt that it will appear again very soon..

Thanks

Hi Webbie, a new name again

To solve your problem: Go to your BAM menu -> BOINCstats -> sync retired projects.

Yea lol back to me old name , some old issue got solved with the old team

The error with the reiselsieve .... is that it seems not to be found by the engine not sure what is the cause, maybe too many changes :

Je hebt geen credit in gesloten projecten of de project accounts zijn niet geregistreerd in BAM!.
or in english you have no credit in closed projects or the accounts are not registered in BAM

So it does not do the trick for me

I cannot sync this as a retired project as I do not have it in my BAM account.

As it is a retired project I cannot add it either.

Is there anyway to manually update my CPID within the boincstats database?

Rieselsieve is now a retired project so it will never sync.

You can use the sync features under "BOINCstats" in your BAM! menu.

I have the same problem, but Rieselsieve is not listed under that list of retired projects. It will list however QMC@Home which is active.

How do I add Rieselsieve in that list so I can syncronize?

Thank you.

And FreeHAL will revert back the cpid after a day when I click on sincronize in "Sync retired projects" page. Any other way to do this?

Thanks,
Mugurel
