This challenge is to see how well CONVECTOR can hold up to increased resources due to challenge stress. Please join in and report your experiences both with server response and other project issues so that we can better determine whether it is a good fit for the DC-Vault.

I'm hoping they have work again by the time the challenge starts.

They've got funny badges, unfortunately only for recent average credit instead of milestones

Well, it seems they either underestimate challenges or they just don't have enough work to keep us fed. These are all good reasons for us to stress test a project before making our decisions. I do appreciate everyone's help.

I've ran it since it started and normally it's quite reliable. Very low error rate as well normally. Don't think there has ever been a challenge on it before though, so maybe they didn't know what to expect or maybe they are not aware we are doing it.

I PM'd them and it was brought up on their forums. Not much else you can do to let them know about it.

No , not a lot else. Pity as normally it is a good project, but this time they have let themselves down when they had a chance to grab some new crunchers. Guess these things happen.

These things do happen as DC-Vault has considered other projects that ran for a while without major hiccups and then when about to add, they suddenly drop off. We are trying to clean up the DC-Vault to be better, so we can't let flaky projects in any more. The good news is that if they do get things going again, we can always revisit the idea. I just wish the admins were a bit more active in the forums and PM's. That goes a long way with volunteers.

Thank you to everyone who helped with the test. Even if it wasn't very eventful.
