Hi

I was having a look at my host stats list and realised that I've got about four times as many hosts listed as I actually have BOINC crunchers. I know this is because I have several CPIDs for the same machine. Would it be possible to simulate host merging? I've tried synchronising all my CPID (the host one, not the project one) by running some work units and merging all the hosts that I could on different projects. But still I have some in my list that I can't get rid of. Subsequently, I know that when BOINCstats grabs all the different XML files that it uses to come up with my stats it sees three different Athlon 64 X2s across all the projects instead of the single one I have. I understand the way the stats generates the list of hosts.

But if I could have a way of "merging" hosts on BOINCstats that'd be awesome. I've thought a little about ways you could do it. It's doable from a technical perspective, but I'm not quite sure the effect it would have on database size or length of time for the updates to run, or whether you'd even be willing to try and implement it. It's just a thought.

Love the stats, keep up the hard work, we really appreciate it Willy!
