Hi there!

I got a wierd problem, as I said above.
When I go for "My Projects" none is listed.
"Task list" also is empty.
"Host list" has an entry that shows my pc correctly (yet may android is missing completely), but it doesn't have any statistics attached.


What I did so far:
I made sure that all projects have a consent for this DSGVO of Germany.
All projects including BOINCStats show the same CPID.
I forced an update for all projects in my BOINCManager
I forced a sync with BOINCStats/BAM! in my BBOINCManager

I still don't see any projects listed in "My projects"

What else can I do?
What did I do wrong?

Einstein@home
Asteroids@home
Milkyway@home
SETI@Home
WCG

is it possible that my problems have someting to do with the fact, that when i try to sign-up for projects and use "Find account" the last attempt always shows "Incorrect password"

Do i have to use the same password for all projects? :frown:

if i search for my username i find my 2 older CPID's which i corrected by assigning the right (new) email-adress to all projects.
Will this eliminate the split CPID over time?
If so, what timeframe are we talking about ? (days, month?)
If not, what can i do?

Yes, for using BAM! you need the same password for all projects. Otherwise BAM! can't perform the actions.


If you use the same username and e-mail address for all projects, then in due time all projects will line up using the same CPID, but... it can take days /weeks. You can speed it up by setting up 1 host attached to all projects you are crunching for. Attaching is enough, you can set project(s) to no new work if you don't want to crunch tasks for all projects on that host.

Oh, i wasn't aware that i need to have same pwd on all projects.
More important, i did read the FAQ and instructions, yet i didn't see it mentioned anyware? Or have i been blind?

I did change all prjects (and here) to a new email thus creating a new cpid. So all data should sync sooner or later.
As for the one host, i only have one host atm (and an android for wcg) so i should be fine.

ok, i did set all pwds to the one i am using here.
now i did try this "BAM! :: Sign-up for projects" page.

And NO finding the popupbox for finding an account is not selfexplanatory if the linked text is NOT in any way recognizable as a link/button.

All my projects now dont show "incorrect password" but simply "failed"

Any Ideas?

That was a bug where the page didn't show the actual status, fixed now.

Although this is not related to your problems, I'd like to elaborate on the following:

This DSGVO is the short form for Datenschutzgrundverordnung which happens to be the German word for the General Data Protection Regulation, short: GDPR.
The GDPR is a EUROPEAN thing, not a German one.
The German thing that further details several subjects of the GDPR is the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG).
