Sorry, I didn't ask Seti@Taiwan's opinion before I post. If I offend them, that's my fault.
I don't know if they want to have news translated--ok, I'll go ask once I have courage to ask. I don't know why, but sometimes I feel shy facing people from my country...forget about it.

And, Seti@Taiwan actually translate the site into traditional Chinese. Like Yin Gang said, it's used in Taiwan and Hong Kong, but there's a bit different. Taiwan and Hong Kong had been seperated for a long time, evolution has occured. Though they are still traditional Chinese, they are not the same at all.

Uh, there are two things not so important but I want to say...
First, please just call me Julia...
Second, I want to ask what's "IMHO"...?

Still half a newbie I had to admit...but it's getting better, a little better all the time...

...ok, most of the job should be done, now http://it.boincstats.com/bam/ has a quite different impact.

Tomorrow I'll spend some more time to take a general check. After that I'll be offline for a couple of week.

It will be useful if anyone Italian-speeking, that you can see/involve (I don't know anyone at the moment crunching BOINC), can check the website leaving mistakes, misunderstandings, mis-anything-else on the forum.

I'll take care when I'll back online.

Bye

Mauro

Hi, Willy

Long time no see to this site.
I'd been apply Korean translation, but about 6-month worked too hard to update any contents.

Now I have some time, and about to continue the translation, but I forgot the pass phrase to translator tool. Can you send the password to me ?
(by my e-mail

My account you made me for the translation is Jay_Lee.

And another question, how do you measure a translation is complete?
Many korean guys wants to view this site with Korean Language, in spite of it partially translated.

I think it is much easier to translate, when announced it public.
And it is well translated enough to understanding average Korean, in my
(with mix of English and Korean)

Thanks,

I'm looking for people who want to translate BOINCstats into their language.

We are already working on Dutch, German and Polish.

If you would like to translate BOINCstats, leave a message here.

I have only two requirements for the 'job':
- You may only translate BOINCstats into your native language
- You have to be a member of the BOINCstats forum

At the moment there are about 300 short sentences (most of them 2 words), 220 country names and one large text to translate.

I would like to help us on translate the web to Spanish and Catalan. What should I do?

So if I can help I will do that with all of my interest.

By the way, I noticed that when I clicked on the Italian flag/button, the page reloaded OK in Italian ( saw a couple of errors ) but there was no English flag/button to toggle back.

The english button is on the far right on my screen. It is a UN flag.

I suggest you use the "English flag" (red cross on white background) be used for English language for clarity. I guess its better than the half-UK/half-US flag used in some places.

Anotehr thing:
If I wanted to volunteer to make an Arabic translation of this website, whom should I contact?

I'm interested to do it soon, but I can't start immediately as I'm busy with other software/website localisation projects; it's what I do for a living.

Regards,

Since Spanish and Portuguese are already taken, I guess I could make a translation to Galego (Gallego/Galician).

Looking for new translators! BOINCstats will soon be released with a new layout and a lot of languages which are now available will be removed because the translators are MIA.

If you want to translate BOINCstats then reply or send me a PM. I'll accept two translators per language.

Do I get this right, that nederlands, deutsch, español, suomi, svenskt and český are already manned, or do you need some backup there as well?
