I have literally scoured the forums and cannot find a situation near enough to mine to be of use.

I just registered for the BOINC STATS and am now trying to attach my current projects. But I have run into a roadblock. I went to the “My BAM menu” and selected “Sign-up for projects”. I then selected “Find” under each of the projects I currently have. When I pressed “start”, the list returned “invalid password” in the column “Last attempt” for five of my seven projects. The other two returned a blank in the same column. When I went back to the “My BAM menu”, and selected “Project list”, the list was understandably empty.

All my projects have the same username and password. When I started to register, I tried to use that same name and password, but the system would not allow me to do that. I then registered for BOINC STATS using a different name and password.

Since I am new here, I don’t understand the jargon I found in most of the forum questions and responses, so I have no idea what BAM, CPID, BBcodes, signature graphics, etc. are. This means I could not follow many of the responses to questions that were posed that seemed vaguely similar to mine. It would be nice if one of your Forum topics dealt specifically with definitions and explanations for jargon, acronyms and other concepts. For your reference, I currently have no values, in the account information, for the following four parameters: CPID, URL, Country international phone code, and Phone number for SMS(?) messages.

With that in mind, please define any acronyms and concepts in your response. I may not understand or follow if you don’t. Thank you.

Questions:

1) How, exactly, step by step, can I get my projects attached to my BOINC STATS account.
2) How and what can and do I do with these stats after they are attached.
3) Some people have in the forums, a table of their stats. How and where do I get this. It seems to show everything I would need.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
